- Dues Collection = 100%
- Current Account Balance = $16, 455.03
- Ongoing Expenses = Landscaping, insurance, legal, and website
- Insurance Policies Review: Nancy
- General Liability = protection for property damage and bodily injury in common areas
- Directors and Officers = protection for board members fulfilling fiduciary duties
- Discussion and consensus driven decision made to continue both policies in order to manage risk and ensure protection of board members and homeowners
- Landscaping Contract Review: Jean
- Living Edge (Bard Edrington)= current landscaper contracted at 8 months (Mar-Oct). Consensus driven decision made to extend contract to 12 months with reduced coverage occurring November – February at a reduced rate, adding $1391.00 to board’s annual expenses. Nancy will share this proposal with Bard and email his response back to the board.
- New Business
- Snow Removal – Joe Casillas has volunteered to clear mail box common area of snow
- Thank you Gary Reynolds! For reaching out to the City to express concern as a private citizen regarding the need to remove plant debris presenting a fire hazard adjacent to the west entrance to the community. This individual effort will help homeowners who reside in the cul de sac.
- Please note that governing documents clearly state that “the Association shall be responsible for maintenance of common areas within the community; areas deeded or dedicated to the City of Santa Fe shall be excluded from the Association responsibility.” Any individual community member, like Gary, may contact Constituent Services to express concern or request action regarding an issue which resides outside of the Association’s responsibility.
- 3360 Vista del Prado Court has been sold and closed on July 25, 2024.
- The topic of updating governing documents resulted in a commitment by several board members to conduct further research to be shared at the next board meeting on November 12, 2024. This meeting and future board meetings will be held in a meeting room at Joanna Anaya’s place of employment, conveniently located close to the community. Thank you Joanna.
