Reports of Officers

Susanne asked about the removal of dead branches on Richards Avenue. Nancy said it would be best to leave branches as is. These dead branches are not in our neighborhood, but just south of 2313 Camino del Prado.

In June, Susanne and Nancy met with James Gilchrist, the supervisor from Clemens Landscaping, to look over all the common areas together.  Any and all small elms growing in those 6 areas will be scaled back this winter, as it is impossible to completely get rid of these pesty trees.

In the past, the board has had to hire Coats Tree Service to remove branches overhanging homeowners’ roofs.  Hopefully by staying on top of these elms when they’re small will prevent future expenditures.

Joanna presented about our current financials.  There is still one homeowner who has not paid 2021 annual dues.  Interest fees will be applied.  If dues are not paid by December 31, 2021, a lien will be placed with the city.  Annual dues need to be collected by March 2021.

Old Business

Discussion on 5/15 about repairing the split rail fence as you come into the subdivision, on the northeast side of Camino del Prado. The repair has been completed.

Regarding the Richards Avenue extension, Susanne asked two homeowners to relay any new information to the board.  At this time, no new information has been obtained.

If any other homeowners wish to be on this subcommittee, please reach out to the board.

Clemens landscaping contract was approved and renewed.

As discussed before, the weed problems continue at 2352 Camino del Prado.  The property management company did indicate they were working on getting the issue resolved.  Joanna will reach out to homeowner concerning the weed problem.
