She explained that the city is expanding so rapidly, and the extension is necessary to handle the increased traffic. She explained why she voted for it. Also advised us to become pro-active as a neighborhood association by requesting Traffic Calming procedures to be put in place in our neighborhood.

Questions from members: Can the road go through Rodeo grounds? She explained there are private ownership issues with the Rodeo grounds and the city and county of Santa Fe, and there was little room for negotiating Richards to go around rodeo grounds to the east.

Jamie answered all questions and concerns.

Everyone thanked Susanne for her excellent work as president and also thanked Nancy for hosting event.

Meeting ended at 11:00 a.m.

Executive board met and Lauren and Jean agreed to act as President cooperatively.
