Called to order at 1:05 pm by president Gary Reynolds. Welcome and self introductions from 10 members in attendance and guests.

JoAnne Vigil Coppler, city councilor and Jeremy Peara, liaison to councilor. Michael Harris was unavailable at the last minute. He sent his apologies.

- City recognizes veterans by hanging banners bought by the families along Cerrillos Rd. Celebration will be held Monday at Police dept. Banners will remain from Memorial to Veterans Day.
- Ordinances reviewed about how to deal with abandoned properties.
- Medium clean up. City has a plan in place, “Santa Fe Beautiful” led by Parks and recreation (John and Charlene).
- Arroyo Chamiso crossing up date. A request for proposals (RFP) has been approved. Traffic study of surrounding roads. Contract has been made to gather the data. Neighborhood meetings (EIN) to be scheduled and posted next 2-3 weeks per land use department. Meetings will probably be held in June or July through the public works Dept., John Romero. Ms. Coppler has spoken with the police and members in the neighborhood about feasibility of speed bumps. The goal is to spread out traffic congestion.
- SF community housing interest- senior housing. Section 8.
- Mike asked about traffic light Richards to Rodeo.
- Frances concerned about homeless in the arroyo and camping off the path. Call constituent services 505 955-6033.
- Joanna reported that she couldn’t obtain another homeowners insurance policy because of the debris behind the homes along the back fences secondary to fire hazard. The City and Fire dept did remove debris last year.
- BTAK is biker committee chaired by Ms Coppler. They propose improved signage for improved safety compliance along the pathway.
- Gary notified the counselor of possible drain pipe that would flood the bike path in the new construction area off Rodeo near the train tracks.
Officers’ Reports
Gary Reynolds presented accomplishments,”State of the block 2018-2019” ; including welcome new home owners, improving communications, use of Cheddar up, maintenance of common areas, urging neighbors to maintain the yards, fencing, security, designated parking area for mailbox access, urging City clean up, invite district councilors to annual meetings, and continue to enforce Covenant violations as required.

Financial report by Joanna Anaya. She reported four dues in arrears. Balance is $4,375.57.
Dave Garner is maintaining the web page for VDP, including minutes, agenda for meetings and alerts. (Joan requested that we include EIN meeting time and scan/post neighborhood points) Gary will follow up on any notices and try to make the website more interactive.
Landscaping led by Nancy Pivonka. Clemens is hired to come every other week. (Frances requested that they include the area between the sidewalk and road near the hedge on the corner common area next to her home.)
